  1. I don't think I have a preference. Both rural and urban imagery would be good on a postcard.
In my country, we don't have much of a postcard culture, unfortunately.

    1. Also in Morocco people don't sent postcards usually. But in Europe we still have a big choice, even if people send less postcards nowadays...

  2. I like urban postcards, especially older ones of cities I know (like New York City) - I love looking at what they looked like many years ago.

    1. I like vintage views of cities too, but especially when I've been there (so I can compare).

  3. Nature type postcards are my favorite kinds to send or receive. I loved to see the Northern Lights someday! That must be awesome to see first-hand. Happy a2zing!

    1. A friend of mine tell me about and... yes, that must be a striking view.

    2. Viewing northern lights is indescribable. They dance in a way that can not be captured in an image.

  4. I'd love to see the northern lights one day.

  5. Such beautiful postcards Eva. I love the Bisons and the matching stamps.
As long as there's drama and intrigue and colours to lift me up, I'm good with any postcard.
You've added a whole bunch of places to my bucket list:)

  8. Nature ones must be my favs...though cityscapes can look amazing too. Would be something to see the Northern Lights with one's own eyes - marvellous!

  10. I would much prefer nature cards to urban ones. Nature brings calm to my spirit while urban scenes bring a sense of urgency somehow, lol. :)

    1. That's true. But it depends on the picture, I guess.

  11. I find nature postcards emotionally attractive. The photography is stunning, and they usually show things I will never see in person.

    2. Absolutely! I actually have a collection of fun and unusual stamps. I don't go out of my way to find them, but if one crosses my path it ends up in the stamp album. :)

    3. Same here! I am not a serious collector, but I appreciate and keep interesting stamps (I mean... all the stamps I got!).

  13. Oh good, I am glad to see you do have a postcard from Hawaii. I was wondering, since I didn't see a Hawaii label in your footer, although there are so many labels in your footer, I might not have seen it. Maui Jungalow

    1. I think this is the only postcard I've received from Hawaii, and it arrived just last month. Anyway, it is tagged "USA" (you can look for places in the right sidebar "Mail to/from"; or you can use Ctrl+F). I believe there are a lot of beautiful landscapes worthposting in Hawaii!

I've opened it this morning and I'm reading it step by step, just finished to read the first, red part. Love it!
