Handmade postcard made of a box of Everlasting Gobstopper bought in the USA.
This kind of sweets, sold by The Willy Wonka Candy Company, are named after the Roald Dahl's children's book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. In Dahl's story, Everlasting Gobstoppers are purported to last forever.
Have you ever tasted them? Do they really last forever?!?
They don't exacly last forever, but there change their flavour and you can get this impression. Besides, there are loads and loads of candies in one box! (In the first shop I bought them, the shop was impressive, it was decorated with motives from the film version). It was in NY. The place where I bought this one was a regular shop in Las Vegas :D Plus, you love Roahl Dahl, don't you? ^^
ReplyDeleteYes: I'm a big fan of Roald Dahl!
DeleteI didn't know that there are real Willy Wonka candies, so thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI've never tasted them, and I think I'll never do*: jawbreakers, ouch!
* Unless it's Real Chocolate, then I might have a try :-)
No, it's not chocolate at all :D they can be jawbreakers, but you can also lick them. Personally, I prefer to break the candy with my teeth because then you have all the flavours at the same time, yum yum!
ReplyDelete"Jawbreakers" is an ugly word!!
