Cowstamps!

I can't be happier because this week's theme for Sundays Stamps is Farm and farm animals. So that gives me the chance to introduce you the VQR Postal Project and invite you to participate. You will be more than welcome (just drop me a note through the contact form).

And for those just interested in stamps, here the cowstamps I gathered so far:

From Canada

From France

From the Netherlands

From the UK

  1. Wow - I'm impressed, what a great selection. Some of those designs from the Netherlands are really cool and make the GB stamps look quite old fashioned. I like the one with the egg on the binoculars. Of the GB stamps, I missed the millenium 20p cow, I remember the 16p with the highland cattle but didn't recall the others, and I totally missed the cows up to 100g.

    1. Well, they are designed in a really different style. But happily I don't need to chose, because I love all of them. I hope someone is posting the millenium 20p cow, as I haven't seen it.

  3. Cowtastic. I love the first French set and of course a dancing cow. I don't remember seeing the first UK one at all but the French Auroch was very familiar as I have not only received it on post but was lucky to buy one when in France years ago.

  4. You have some big boys here among the cows; my favourite is the Aurochs from France.

  8. Wonderful, and they put my lone cow to shame. I’m glad to see the one dancing as I think she could be a friend of the beach babe in mine :)
