Windmills

Postcard sent by Tessa (the Netherlands).

I quite like windmills, and I have visited some of them in different countries. I do not know why I do not show them in the blog more often... This one is in Schiedam; among 25 windmills, you can find the biggest of the world in this town, they say. De Drie Koornbloemen (The Three Cornflowers) is the oldest.

I have received more Dutch windmills on stamps. I just love these designs! (And more information here).
