I don't agree, of course. But I have to confess that all but one of my correspondents (and there are a lot) are female. So even if they are not the only ones to be relied upon they are certainly in the majority. I wonder why that is?
Most of my correspondents are female too. Male correspondents "vanish" more often. I also wonder why.
