Complete Series of Postcrossing Stamps!

When the second series of Postcrossing stamps were issued by Dutch Post last March, I expected to be lucky enough to get one or two of them. But not the whole series! Heleen (the Netherlands) has been sending them on different postcards and letters throughout the latest months. Now the series is complete and looks really, really gorgeous. I guess that many postcrossers would be envious.

I really love the design of these stamps, and the Dutch highlights chosen to illustrate them. The only think I find odd is... I didn't spot any cow on them! It seems impossible. Maybe a cow is hidden among the illustrations and I cannot see it...

I added this entry to Sunday Stamps - II. The theme of this week is postal related.

  1. Thank you for showing, Eva! I had kept a complete sheet apart for you and I was in doubt whether you had received all of them (including the upper and lower stamp sheet edges), but you did :-)

Now a stamp sheet of a recently issued 'books' theme is waiting for the same treat :-)

    1. I waited until I had the complete series. Then I thought that this post could fit in Sunday Stamp's theme. I feel lucky that all of them arrived. And some to Spain, some to Morocco! Thanks!

    1. Yes, I feel lucky. Some of them arrived in Spain, some in Morocco. You aren't the only one who sends two parts of a letter to different countries :)

  4. I didn't realize there were commeratives of Postcrossing. I was active in that group for awhile until Mail Art took over. It's wonderful that there are stamps for it.

    1. Some countries have issued Postcrossing stamps: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Finland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Guernsey... So maybe the UK will consider doing so. I don't think Spain is going to issue that, but, who knows? Maybe that would drive me back to Postcrossing!
