Stamphead without Head
I guess this envelope sent to Heleen (the Netherlands) does not make sense if you do not read the letter inside. But I love how it turned out, so I wanted to share it.

The Letter Eater
Letter sent by Phillip (the USA).
These stamps honouring de fashion designer Óscar de la Renta, issued on 16 February are really big and bright. Impressive!
So I am glad that the Post Monster, who try to eat the letter during its travel, started to bit the opposite corner...

Aviators on Stamps, and Other Ways of Flying
This is a post for Sunday Stamps-II. This week's theme is Flying. I chose three stamps featuring pioneer (for different reasons) aviators:
Arthur William Tedder (1890 – 1967) was a pilot and squadron commander in the First and Second World Wars. The stamp was issued in the UK in 1986 (and also recently received).
Charles Alfred Anderson, Sr., (1907 – 1996) was an American aviator known as the The Father of Black Aviation. I like that it arrived on a postcard along with a bird...
For easier or, at least, more peaceful ways of flying, you can try a kite:
Or, if you are brave enough (which I am not), wingsuit flying:

Greek Postcards
This week's theme in Postcards for the Weekend is: from a country you would want to live in if you have the chance/choice. I am currently living abroad, and the next country I will live in is... mine (from 2018 on, or that is the plan).
If I had to choose another country, it would be (probably) Greece. It is funny that I have sent more postcards from Greece (see here, or here...) than I have got! Actually, I have received only four postcards from that country in my whole life: two of them through the Postcrossing site, and two of them are a similar view, but with different light.
But it was looooong time ago. So, if you are reading this from any place in Greece... Would you like to swap a postcard?

#AtoZChallenge | Theme Reveal
This year, I am participating in the Blogging from A to Z Challenge. This is my first time, and it was Maria who inspired me by completing the challenge in 2015.
Click the link to learn more about it. But, to summarize: it consists in posting every day (except Sundays) during April, and do it thematically from A to Z.
There is not compulsory to have a theme. But, as they say, it is fun. My posts will be mainly about postcards I have got. Some will be short, some will be more elaborated and containing my usual mail adventures.
I hope you will enjoy it as much as I am. Let me know what you think! And also, let me know if you decide to join the challenge, too.
Spring Has Arrived!
Postcard sent by Micu (Hungary).
The Dolomites are a mountain range located in the north east of Italy. They are also know as the Pale Mountains. The Marmolada is the highest point: 3,343 m. In August 2009, the Dolomites were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
When I received this postcard, I remembered that a friend had sent me more postcards of this area some years ago, back in 2009 and 2010. He was living in Italy at the moment.

Let's Fly to Italy
I received this postcard some weeks ago from Laura (the UK). We were having a conversation about future trips and wanderlust. Only later I learnt that the picture was taken in Naples, Italy, a country I have been thinking of visiting. So it is perfect for the theme of Maria's link party this week: From a country you wish to visit.
Another postcard from Italy, sent by Gian Luca & Raffaella. It belongs to the Postallove's series Greetings from...
