the betta is so colourful! I'm glad you showed some pets other than cars/dogs (though, of course, they are the most common pets, so the ones everyone think of)
There are so many animals in shelter, so I totally agree with the Canadian message. I hadn't seen these stamps before, I like the design. The US stamps I knew and I love your choice, these are my favourites, along with the cavia.
By the way, I also love languages, as you know, and it is fun to see the totally different approach ('you' versus 'je') in English and French on the Canadian stamp :-)
I do like the idea behind the Canadian pet stamps.
ReplyDeleteYes, I think it is a great design.
DeleteI like the Canadian animals and their dreams too, clever stamps to promote an idea. Gorgeous and flashy fish on the US stamp.
ReplyDeleteThe fish looks wonderful on an envelope, sure!

I'm not a pet person, but I guess I would prefer a turtle to a dog/cat.

DeleteI don't have pets, but I think that is rather silly to buy one... with so many animals in shelters!
DeleteCanadian stamps have usually great designs. But, of course, the bilingualism is a plus!
The Canadian stamps are new for me this week; good to see the cat and what looks or bird table in the dream.
ReplyDeleteThe dreams on the stamps are a clever way to express the idea.
