- Building a Nation. Issued on 8 August, 2013. There are 12 different designs, that feature black-and-white photographs of early 20th century industrial workers. I had received some more of these:
- Masters of American Photography, self-adhesive stamps issued on 13 June 2002. More in my collection:

DeleteOh, and you explained it well. It is just my English! In Catalan, llibreria means 'bookstore', so library is a false friend... I just mixed both words :|

ReplyDeleteAnd here we name same words with total different meaning in different languages 'false friends' ('valse vrienden'), too :-) I love them, because often they are surprising and/or funny.
I knew the Spanish 'librería' for bookstore, too. What is the name for library in Catalan, something like 'bibliotheek'? (= library in Dutch, bookstore we just translate literally, 'boekwinkel').
You guessed: it is "biblioteca", both in Spanish and Catalan.

DeleteAujourd'hui je suis allée au centre Georges Pompidou à Paris voir l'exposition du photographe Américain Walter Evans ,vraiment très intéressante ! A l'exposition"jardins" du grand palais ,il y avait une photo de Man Ray,superbe !Magnifique tous ces timbres et la photo de la librairie est vraiment belle ,qui l'a prise ? Bon dimanche!

DeleteL'auteur de la photo ne vient pas indiqué sur la carte, mais au site web (MetroscopeCollection) il dit que le photographe est Jason Wilson, inconnu pour moi jusqu'à ce moment.
