Stamps Classics is the title of a 6-stamps set issued by Royal Mail on 15 January 2019, to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Royal Philatelic Society and the 50th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's formal opening of what today is known as the Postal Museum.

On the last letter you can see the reproduction of the stamp of the king Edward VII from 1910. Of those "Only one is known to have been used, on an envelope addressed to the Prince of Wales: it arrived on 6 May 1910, the day on which he became King George V." (Read here).
And also a lot of different Machine stamps. This is a recycled envelope. It didn't get postmarked the first time. The sender, being honest, added the due postage and re-sent it... But, as you can see, it didn't get postmarked the second time either!

I love postmarks and would miss them on this mail. However, lack-of-postmarks is better than scribbles-on-stamps :-)

DeleteAt first I thought this set was underwhelming, however each time I have seen one of the stamps on an envelope they always look very nice.
