I keep thinking the same thing. Although this weekend there were a lot of people out and about as the weather was really nice - not much distancing and very few wearing masks :(
Also I frown my eyebrows when seeing many people close to each other on pre-covid pictures and when seeing people shake hands in movies... Amazing that this 'new normal' thinking is adapted this soon by so many people - while the situation still feels kind of surreal - and I am still surprised that adaptation to these new habits takes place so fast and all-over the world..
It shows what an adaptable species we are that we have come to see the new normal so quickly. I too do a 'double take' every time I see a postcard or book illustration with crowds.
I know! I am seeing tv shows and movies in a whole new light with their lack of social distancing!!
ReplyDeleteGlad to know I'm not the only one :)

DeleteHere masks may be compulsory within a few days.

You're right.
DeleteBut, sometimes, I'm also surprised when I see people not wearing masks, or standing very close and exchanging their mobile phones...
