I’ve received both those Russian bears on postcards in recent months. As for the other bears I do see the occasional black bear roaming the rural neighborhoods near my home. Fortunately they keep their distance for the most part and are not generally a danger. They can be a nuisance though.

ReplyDeleteI've only seen bears in person twice, in Canada. One of them... far too close! Luckily, he chose not to pay attention to us.
DeleteI don't like to be a pedant but that last one is a wolverine, not strictly a bear.

DeleteGreat stamps - no bears in the UK except in zoos. I wouldn't want to meet any of theses at close quarters.
