For today's topic on Sunday Stamps, Arts & Crafts, I have chosen some pottery stamps from different countries/continents:
Koji Pottery, Taiwan |
Pueblo Art, USA |
Potter's Wheel, India |
The Duke of Edimburgh's Award Skills, UK |
Delft Blue, the Netherlands |
Lebanon |
I find it rather mesmerising watching a pot being made on a potters wheel. Nice contrast of pottery styles.
ReplyDeleteWatching potters at work is almost magic.
DeleteI have used a potters wheel and I found it much more difficult than I think than these artisans. It's interesting to see the two different styles.
ReplyDeleteThe first stamp showing the vases as they would be used have such lovely, dramatic flower arrangements.
I like to see the different styles, too. I'd like more stamps on crafts!
DeleteThank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for your visit :)
DeleteI have never seen a potter in action. Somehow I don't think I would be handy enough. Great stamps.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bob!
