  1. Old typewriters are so lovely to look at. And that clickety-clackety sound is much more alive than the keyboards of today. I regret that I no longer have any in my home.

    1. I rescued my Dad's old typewriter and now I enjoy writing letters with it. I just love typing :)

  2. I love typewriters, too, even though they made me do much extra work in the past (my teens) when I mis-typed (which made me type a page again and again when typex wasn’t enough helpful). Four of my 6 secondary school years I took part in the editor’s board of the school magazine, and because personal computers didn’t exist at that time, we had to type our texts, so I made many (kilo)meters typing :-)

By the way, I love Violet’s words ‘clickety-clackety sound’, too!
