Today's theme in Sunday Stamps is Small Animals. I did not find anything smaller!
This stamp belongs to a set issued on 15 March 2021. It corresponds to the annual Science issue, and it is dedicated to the microorganisms. You can see the 5-stamps sheet below (detailed images here).
Super small and perfectly circular. Love the stamp sheet.
ReplyDeleteAn amazing shape.
DeleteGoodness these are tiny animals!
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteThis looks so cooly architectural. Imagine finding something so tiny.
ReplyDeleteWorking in that field must be like entering in another world.
DeleteI don't think it gets smaller than this! Love it how you chose something that is not something that comes first to mind, when it comes to small animals... love the interpretation!
ReplyDeleteThanks :D
DeleteConcerning the theme I would have thought of insects (John sent me several wonderful stamps, and this year’s Europa Stamps’ theme is ‘endangered animals’, for which Dutch Post issued bee stamps), or mice. But your amazing animal is by far the smallest!
ReplyDeleteThe complete sheet is a beautiful one, too!
I thought of this because I got it two weeks ago. Also, there aren't so many stamps dedicated to microorganisms.
DeleteI would never have thought of microorganisms for this = well done.
ReplyDeleteIf I hadn’t received this stamp recently, I wouldn’t have thought of it either.
