Hassan II (1999)

Moroccan kings on stamps for today's theme on Sunday Stamps: Royalty. 

Two stamps featuring the former King Hassan II, almost 30 years apart. And, below, a more recent stamp I got: the current king (since 1999) Mohammed VI.

    I would not have thought that was King Hassan in both those stamps! He changed a lot.
    As for Mohammed VI, he looks like a much more modern king. (Appearances can be deceiving, but will now look him up)

      Hassan II's was a long reign. A lot of things changed in the country during that period, I guess.

    I do not have any Morocco stamps either and would not have known the name of any of their kings.
