Московский Кремль / Moscow Kremlin (Or just the Kremlin) |
For today's theme in Sunday Stamps, Buildings, I have chosen stamps featuring impressive Russian fortresses.
The series started in 2009. I have got different stamps through the years, and I do not get tired of these. Here you have some of them. It would be quite difficult to complete the collection!
Ростовский кремль / Rostov Kremlin Новгородский кремль / Novgorod Kremlin |
Ряза́нский кре́мль / Ryazan Kremlin |
Yes I like these too and the animal ones.
ReplyDeleteThese are common, and some people say they are "boring". I don't agree! :)
DeleteI can see why some people might get tired of them, but they are far from boring. I only wish they were a tiny bit bigger.
DeleteI agree with you.
DeleteProbably the most prevalent stamps on the mail from Russia. Not sure how many I've received so far and which ones Im still missing.
ReplyDeleteI dont think they are boring, just that Russia has such amazing stamps, one would like to see something else too on the letters and postcards and not just these definitives. But I guess it is also a question of availability and that some post offices probably may only sell a very limited choice of stamps.
Yes. It is the same here. Most post offices don't have ANY stamp at all (?!).
DeleteThe Kremlin is not just a fortress. This is the place of work of the Russian rulers. Their office.
ReplyDeleteI know :)
DeleteImpressive and I had not seen them before.
ReplyDeleteIf you get a letter from Russia, they are chances you get at least one of these :)
