J'aime tous ces timbres hélas trop rares qui mettent les écrivaines à l'honneur :)
ReplyDeleteMerci de les avoir envoyé! :D
DeleteA diverse reading list which would keep one entertained, and thinking. In these times of restricted movement who wouldn't want to travel with the redoubtable Freya Stark.
ReplyDeleteLukily, we can keep travelling thanks to books...
DeleteAn impressive selection - and you have a much better picture of the Le Guin stamp than I do.
ReplyDeleteThis one arrived on a postcard. I love it!
DeleteFreya Stark: I got bogged sown in one of her books and should really pick it up again. Excellent female writers!
ReplyDeleteI love the design of that stamp :)
DeleteSo many pensive looking writers (with the exception of de Beauvoir with her broad smile!). I haven't thought about Freya Stark in a long time. May be time for a reread...
ReplyDeleteAnd maybe Anne Spencer?
DeleteSuch a wonderful variety of stamp designs!
ReplyDeleteAnd no doubt that the books written vary much, too. Although I must confess that I only know four of the authors by name.. And I've read only one book by one of them (the impressive book 'Uncle Tom's cabin', I read it as a teen at my late grandmother's home when I stayed there in my holidays).
How a stamp can bring back memories of decades ago :-)
DeleteThank you for sharing all these beautiful stamps!
:D
DeleteThanks for visiting!
This could be a great reading list for the months ahead!
ReplyDeleteA long one!
