Different kinds of ducks for today's Sunday Stamps, dedicated to Birds.
Lovely stamp from France and the Eider duck stepping out. Love ducks for their ubiquity.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that ducks are like... everywhere!
DeleteI'm a big fan of ducks. The wood duck would be my favourite. I recall squealing with delight once on seeing one at our local marina, only to have a guy (also with a camera) with a 'so what?' look on his face. How could anyone not be thrilled at seeing him?!
ReplyDeleteMaybe he had spent hours looking at other ducks, ha ha.
DeleteA fake duck, ha ha! Great stamps to day.
ReplyDeleteWell, it's a duck anyway, isn't it? ;)
DeleteThe French duck's eye looks just like the decoy's. I like how the eider looks like its just flapping along.
ReplyDeleteYou almost can see the eider moving, can't you?
DeleteVery nice duck collection there!
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
DeleteFerruginous duck… I like the name and the stamp too. And the marching rider duck is so cute.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the name is because of the colours.
DeleteSuch a lovely collection!
ReplyDelete(It reminds me of sending you an other kind of Duck - will send it to you soon :-) )
