Hare loved to read about himself in pictures

'Mole' (in the Czech original, Krtek)

I discovered Krtek some years ago, thanks to postcards. It is nice to meet him again, reading with his friends on this postcard. I thought that the moles were poor eyesight!

More moles on the stamps. However, these are not reading!

And it seems that also the badgers like reading with friends!

  1. Ah yes, moles. I’m in a losing battle with them in my yard as the weather cools and they expand their territory!

    1. You should offer them some books. They would be entertained and wouldn't bother you... :D

    2. Our band was named 'Below the Mole' so maybe you can add a few musical instruments, too. Just in case some of the moles don't want to read, they can make music instead..

  2. I like the literature idea Eva! I wonder if Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew would be effective on Moles?

    1. I have no idea which book the moles like best. But I guess that, if hares enjoy reading about themselves, you should find an illustrated book about moles. It doesn't seem an easy task, though! :D
