Postcard made by Fabienne (France), out of Women on Stamps from Denmark, France, Germany and the USA.
Some of this women had already appeared on the Women on Stamps section of this blog: Virginia Apgar, Cilly Aussen, Madeleine Brès & Alice Hamilton and Fanny Hensel. The rest will we added soon!

Nice card and the opportunity to read and learn about the relevance off these ladies.
ReplyDeleteI only knew about Fanny Mendelssohn and Pearl S. Buck.
The others we're unkown to me.
A lot to learn on this postcard!
DeleteI know I can be a bit dyslexic when typing and I am prone to typos due to both finger clumsiness and ignorance, but I would really love to understand why when I type from my mobile the spell checker insists in changing things that were right when I first wrote them....
DeleteYou know about "mail monsters," right? They are creatures—big or small—that mess up our mail: they bite and eat envelopes, move postcards around, tear up stamps, or add truly hideous pen cancellations... Well, so inside every phone live "mobile monsters," which do exactly the same thing to your messages.
Deletehmmmmm, I guess you have a point there....
DeleteClever idea from Fabienne
ReplyDeleteI was surprised it arrived safe and sound.
