'It's no use. We'll have to let out the spare room' From The Wrong Trousers, 1993 |
The sender, John (the UK), was not sure if reading a bill counts as a reading postcard.

Nor am I if this postcard sent by Heleen (the Netherlands) can fit in with the
reading category. No doubt that the little fellow is a book lover, though.

The reading theme is clearer on this one, also sent by Heleen. But I didn't realise the mouse at first!
I keep on loving postcards of reading people (that is, including animals).
ReplyDeleteAnd is reading numbers also reading, or does it count as counting instead of reading? I don't know but bills contain letters, too, and it is a piece of paper Wallace is holding in his hand, in a reading pose, so I would add it to your 'reading' albums!
And what about eating the books? :D
DeleteGood question.... Indeed he/she holds the paper as if reading.... However, we cannot see if he/she has read before eating.. At least the theme : 'Book readers / book lovers' will match :-) That also might help including not-reading people who hold a book in their hands :-)
Delete(S)he is only pretending, like some people in social networks... ;)
DeleteI love that second card and was lucky enough to get one too.
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful illustration, as well as the other two postcards.
DeleteLove both of these. The small details are amazing.
