Today's theme on Sunday Stamps is Transportation.
Cars are not my favourite means of transport, but found some nice stamps featuring classical cars...

DeleteSome great old cars. The Wartburg was quirky, you could remove the back seat and it had a 2 stroke engine which meant it used an oil and petrol mix. Wise to carry a can of oil in the boot (which was massive) in case the garage didn't have an oil pump.
ReplyDeleteI think I have never seen one of those cars in person. Or maybe I have, but I didn't pay attention.
DeleteWartburg seems an unfortunate name for a car (though I understand where it comes from). I love seeing the designs of classic cars when each make was easily identifiable.
ReplyDeleteThe old cars have a special charm.
