This looks such an interesting place to visit. And there are flamingos!
ReplyDeleteNo lack of flamingos there, indeed!
DeleteBeautiful place, but then, almost all areas there are beautiful, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteCertainly, around the Ebre you find some beautiful spots.
DeleteI was intrigued by the first having a "platja" rather than a "playa." Catalan of course!
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteAnd arrossars = 'rice fields'
Deltas are fascinating places. The field system on the second card is interesting some of it with narrow strips, almost like medieval strip farming when people shared a field.
ReplyDeleteThe field system is actually medieval, although the delta was quite different then.
DeleteA little further south, the filed system was different, and the stripers are even narrower!
Thanks that was so interesting, what a unique place.
