Letter sent by Phillip (the USA) with a sweet illustration and the USA stamps issued to commemorate the Chinese Year of the Rooster (or the Chicken?) that starts today.
I have received more good wishes for the year 2017 by snail mail, not uploaded. Like this postcard sent by Catherine (France):
And this original collage made by Laura (the UK). Nothing bad can happen in 2017, with these gargoyles protecting me...
Great to see these guys arrived in good time. And here it is the Year of the Rooster - I just like to be silly and call it the year of the chicken. Really, it should be the year of birds everywhere, all the other zodiac animals are mammals except for the mythical dragon.
ReplyDeleteOops, I forgot about the snake!
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteAnd I love the gargoyles - they always fascinate me.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know! I also love gargoyles.
DeleteSuch a lovely mail!
ReplyDeleteYes, I feel lucky :D
DeleteI wish my gargoyles could protect everybody this year...
