This year, I am participating in the Blogging from A to Z Challenge. This is my first time, and it was Maria who inspired me by completing the challenge in 2015.
Click the link to learn more about it. But, to summarize: it consists in posting every day (except Sundays) during April, and do it thematically from A to Z.
There is not compulsory to have a theme. But, as they say, it is fun. My posts will be mainly about postcards I have got. Some will be short, some will be more elaborated and containing my usual mail adventures.
I hope you will enjoy it as much as I am. Let me know what you think! And also, let me know if you decide to join the challenge, too.
I love the sound of your theme!
ReplyDeleteIt takes me back to the days of handwritten cards and watching out for the postman who trudged on foot from postbox to postbox...
Hop over to read all about your daily dose of inspiration in my theme reveal post!

Hello, Michelle! Thanks for coming. I hope I will keep the posts interesting.
DeleteI am afraid that the link is not working. Can you write it again, please?
Oh, postcards! I like it :) I don't get (or send) as many as I want to, but I am always happy when someone asks me to send one from my travels :) Fun theme!

I think they will be even one day about fairy tales... :D
DeleteI am a huge fan of snail mail so I look forward to your a - z posts. Melissa @ My Creatively Random Life
ReplyDeleteNice to see another snail mail fan here! :D
DeleteGood luck with the challenge... and the difficult letters.
ReplyDeleteAfter my struggle during TFP, I am starting to think that X is not a difficult letter, but an impossible one!
DeleteDoes it have to be an English word?
Delete(I have just replied to you in an e-mail)
DeleteI love postcards and collect them on my travels; looking forward to seeing what you are writing in this theme. Maybe if I can understand the theme, might share some of my postcards with you. Cheers
ReplyDeleteshalzmojo
That would be great!
DeleteWhat about postcards from Quebec for Q? Z might be difficult... Zambia? Zimbabwe? Looking forward to seeing your postcards!
ReplyDeleteI wrote it wrong: I have already a word for Z. It is Y that I am still looking for!
DeleteThanks for your suggestion of Quebec. Let's see if I use it... :)
Such a nice challenge! Looking forward to your April posts!
ReplyDeleteQ - queen? Do you need a Dutch one? Let me know if I have to send you one! :-)
(on my turn I ould love to receive a quetzal, the national bird from Guatemala, but alas I don't know anyone who ould send us quetzals...)
And if selfmade/drawn postcards count, I could draw you a xylophone :-)
DeleteOr what about the famous 'emoji' xoxo ?
DeleteHistorical figures: Xerxes?
A girl named Xantippe?
Languages: the South African xhosa (not sure if you write it this way but I can look it up if you want)
A Brazilian song named Xango?! :-)
Let me know if I can help you to complete with any letter!
To be short: this project is sooo inspiring!
DeleteNow that I have scheduled some posts, I have a lot of ideas!
DeleteThese are the missing letters: E, G, Q, X and Y.
For E and GI am sure I will find something soon. But it would be cool if you find any postcard for the rest. I would give your credit on the post, of course!
Anyway, don't worry. As I wrote to Phillip, a lot of postcards sent by you are already going to appear during the chalenge :D
Simply love postcards. I will def be following along with your challenge.
ReplyDeleteYou will be very welcome here!
DeleteWelcome to the challenge! I look forward to reading your posts. This is my 3rd year participating but the first with my photo blog The Articulate Image "Q" "X" and "Y" can be challenging letters! - Marie
ReplyDeleteWith the help of two friends, I'm almost there. Thanks for dropping by.
DeleteWhat a clever idea! I can't wait to see all the postcards you post.
ReplyDeleteEven if they are not LEGO? ;)
DeleteYay! I thought I had an 'X' postcard in stock, and I just looked it up and... I still have it! Will write and send it to you one of the coming days.
ReplyDeleteTo which country do you prefer me to send it?
Morocco, please! I hope it will arrive before the 28. Thanks! :D
DeleteThe letter X is stumping me this year too. Last year I think I just got away with it. I'm glad it is at the end of the month to give me some extra thinking/writing time.

DeletePostcards are a fabulous idea. I know - x, q and z can leave you feeling desperate. I figured those out this year first, before signing up. It's sooo stressful otherwise. But I'm sure you'll think of something.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to schedule all the posts before April, to dedicate more time to read other people posts. I'm almost there!
DeleteI LOVE POSTCARDS! Thank you SO much for stopping by and commenting, otherwise I wouldn't have found you. Regarding your "missing" letters: I'll dig around in my collection. But maybe just a search on The Google will do it for you! Surprisingly, my hardest letter was "Y" this year.
