Oh damn! Just deleted a comment due to a typo and the it seems that I didn't copy it properly, because the paste option is not active.... anyway, what I said was that...
ReplyDelete...a couple of days ago I went out on my two legs again (what a joy) on a rainy afternoon to downtown Lisbon, looking for postcards that might fit the bill so that they could fly across the border into a certain mailbox. Sadly I was not successful, but I'll keep on trying, now that I got my Mercury feet back again :-)

DeleteIt can be, but it also is a moody customer... and we'd better respect it... Still, its tatrums have got to be some of the most outstanding and awe inspiring manifestations of beauty... Even more so when there are albatrosses or lighthouses involved.
DeleteThose are nice. I like the blue and white stripes on the one in Cascais. I have only one foreign lighthouse postcard, well, one card, two lighthouses, since it's a view of the old and new ones in Ostend, Belgium.
