Heleen (the Netherlands) sent me this nice drawn envelope with matching stamps. The once with the red and white cups were issued in 2003, but I hadn't seen them before (I think). They are dedicated to the 250th anniversary of Douwe-Egberts Coffee Roasting founding.
Inside there was a folded card encouraging us to drink wine and beer... or, anyway, not to drink water.
So, I considered coffee to be a good option, and made two postcards for Heleen, out of a calendar from my coffee store.
More reused materials: a collage I made for Laura (the UK), of Belgian chocolate packaging.
Thank you very much for the great coffee cards, Eva! I think I prefer coffee to beer and even wine :-)
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine used to say that "our problem is that we like everything" :D
DeleteHi Eva, These cards are so cool! And I love the words on the Benjamin Franklin stamp! Now, thank you for your comment about comments :-) on my blog this morning. I appreciate that! One quick question: Is it too early for me to post a card to you in Spain?
ReplyDeleteIf you post now a postcard, it will surely arrive before I do. But no problem, it would be waiting in my desk, for me to read it.
DeleteI would be delighted to receive a postcard from you!
