I had already got the Peanuts stamps, but now some of they arrived along with the label featuring their creator, and a neatly applied first day pictorial postmark.
I don't know why, but there are some places whose mere name makes me dream. Thus I was more than delighted to receive this letter from Lilli, with a postmark from Honolulu and perfect stamps and stickers.
It was a perfect gift. And more... the same week I got another postcard from the same place (showing Hawaii, sent from Canada), sent by Rosemary. You made my day, girls!
I have been surprised lately by a lot of people from around the world skating on the stamps I have got (?!).
Canada
The Netherlands
Portugal
The USA
(Update: I have just read here that these ice hockey stamps belong to a joint series of stamps put on circulation by the USA and the Canada postal administrations on 20 October 2017.)
Hand-made envelope, of a catalogue, sent by Phillip (the USA). I think this illustration of Charlie is the best in the set. Who would not walk in the snow just to check if there is something in the mailbox? Even a letter full of snow, can warm you in a cold morning!
Sunday Stamps - IIsuggested today Christmas (secular). Actually, most of the Christmas stamps I am receiving are related with the non-religious aspects of this holidays.
According to them, the most important things in winter and/or Christmas are a) Enjoying the snow, b) Killing a tree (I am not going to do this!), c) Sending letters.
From Italy
From the Netherlands
From the United Kingdom
From the USA
Update: I have received two more! (Thanks, Bryon!)
