Sunday Stamps | Agricultural Projects
Eden Project is a visitor attraction in Cornwall (The UK). The complex is dominated by two huge enclosures consisting of adjoining domes that house thousands of plant species, and each enclosure emulates a natural biome. The attraction also has an outside botanical garden which is home to many plants and wildlife native to Cornwall and the UK in general.
Following on from the workers' gardens that appeared in the 19th century, throughout the country, les jardins partagés (='shared gardens' or 'community gardens'), brought to life and cultivated together by residents, promote biodiversity and strengthen ties between generations. The stamp was issued in 2023.

Ball de Marcos Vicente

We find this spoken dance documented in Reus (Catalonia) at the end of the 19th century, remaining alive well into the 20th century. It was very popular and told us the adventures of a Valencian knight, kidnapped by pirates and taken to Moorish lands, but who ends up running away and returning home.
Since June 2017, a version of this dance is represented again, by kids, during St Peter's festival (in June).
Reus is not far from home. However, this postcard was sent by Bryon (the USA).

Thursday Postcard Hunt | Maroilles
I did not know how to interpret this week Thursday Postcard Hunt theme, or I did not find any appropriate postcard. When I travel, the souvenir I bring home is usually... local food!

Eduard (Russia) sent me the first postcard two years ago, and the second recently. At first sight, I thought it was the same boy reading the same red book.

Sunday Stamps | Melusina
Today's theme in Sunday Stamps is Of the Sea. Look at what I found!
According to the legend, Melusina was the wife of Count Siegfried I. In 963, he built his castle on the Bock promontory, above the Alzette, for his lovely wife, who had laid down two conditions before consenting to the marriage: she wished to be alone every Saturday at noon without being disturbed. Siegfried’s curiosity allegedly led him to observe his wife on a Saturday through the keyhole and discover that her legs were turning into a fishtail. His scream betrayed him and Melusina disappeared in the Alzette. Even today, it is said that she appears every seven years.
By the way, this is the first time I have got mail from Luxembourg! Although this was a Postcrossing postcard, and its ID was French (FR-...). But actually sent from a neighbouring country!

I received a perfect postcard of the lighthouse of Roter Sand (='Red Sand'), in the North Sea.
The envelope is also perfect. Even the postmark looks like waves!
