On the first Friday of August, the International Beer Day is celebrated around the world. I received this card by Heleen (the Netherlands) yesterday. It says "summer"!

Beer Day
Bonnie (Hong Kong) sent this postcard during the winter. But a cold beer is surely more appealing in the middle of the summer, and especially during the International Beer Day. I wish you a happy beer if you are among the beer drinkers!

Bud
I have got this postcard twice through the Postcrossing site: from Olaf in Germany, and from Gosia in the Netherlands (in 2021). However, I would not associate the Budweiser brand to any ot those countries, but to the USA.
The first Friday of August, some people celebrate the International Beer Day. I wish you a happy beer if you are among the beer drinkers.

Crossing the Ocean... Thrice
One of the letters I published yesterday as part of the Beer Appreciation Day post, was sent on 15 August 2021.
On 3 December 2021 I found it in my mailbox, with the dreaded label:
Return to senderNot deliverable as addressedUnable to forward
The address was correctly written, but maybe too much decoration confused the postal machines.
I resent it few days later, inside a new envelope. It arrived in twenty days.

Beer Appreciation Day
On the first Friday of August, the Beer Appreciation Day is celebrated around the world. Last year, I made envelopes using beer labels & packaging with lovely designs. Here you can be some of them, sent to the USA and the UK:
