From Bulgaria
Bulgaria is not a country I receive a lot of mail from. Actually, I think it is only my second postcard from there.
This one was sent by Ana, and features an aerial view of St. Alexander Nevski catheral in the capital, Sofia.
The stamp was issued on 16 January, and it is dedicated to the Bulgarian embroideries. The designer is Svetlin Balezdrov.

Lighthouses from Bulgaria
John (the UK), besides the hand-painted lighthouse, added some beautiful lighthouse stamps to this envelope. It is always a pleasure to receive such combination. By the way, have you realised that the line at the bottom of any stamp represent the way its light flashes?
Inside the envelope, among some postcards, I found this sheet of lighthouse stamps from Bulgaria:
It made me double happy, as usually I don't receive mail from that country. Actually, the only Bulgarian postcard I have received so far (thanks to Postcrossing), features one of the lighthouses of this sheet.

From Bulgaria
Sent by Christina (Bulgaria).
Postcard showing the city of Burgas or Бургас, on the Bulgarian Black Coast. Have you noticed there is a lighthouse in the extreme of the port? Well, maybe is a beacon, but enough for making smile the sort of lighthouse-hunter I am.
This is the only mail I have got from Bulgaria so far. I have not friends there, and there is really few postcrossers living in that country. So I am lucky!
