The post box which has gone through all kind of calamities has finally been placed back on the sidewalk opposite. Just in front of my current workplace, which is very convenient.  I must add that it is not in very good condition: no logo, damaged paint, a little rusty... I hope it lasts a long time anyway!

An almost hidden post box in a medieval cloister! It is the old cloister of the hospital Sant Pere dels Pobres (13th century) in the village of Aiguamúrcia (Catalonia). It belonged to the complex of the Royal Monastery of Santes Creus.

I did not use it, but it is a working mailbox.

I am so used to mail boxes being removed forever that I was really surprised to see a renovated one! The picture above above was taken last month, in the same spot that the postcard below, from December 2021. 

(Actually, the whole area is being renovated. And the pillar box has a new companion.)

These pictures were taken last month in Cullera. Some people mistake those round boxes for post boxes. Actually, they are logistic lockers for the use of postal workers when delivering. They used to were green (picture below), but they are being repainted in blue (picture above). It is not usual to find the two colours in the same town!
