Sunday Stamps | Easter

Today's Sunday Stamps is dedicated to Easter. My country does not issue Easter stamps, I found a couple in my collection, more than forty years old, and a recent one from the USA not exactly intended for Easter.

Suriname, 1980

Grenada, 1976

USA, 2022

I wish happy Easter to all those who celebrate it!

  2. Canada has never issued Easter stamps either. I think I've already shown the all ones I have from Poland and Ukraine. Stamps from Suriname and Grenada are a nice rarity. I find the Surinaamse stamp appealing with its geometric pattern. And the pasqueflower is always so pretty.

    1. I have shown some from the East of Europe, too, where Easter stamps are a tradition, I think.
Those from Surinam and Grenada arrived by post, but inside the envelope. I've never got mail from those countries.

  3. A very pretty US stamp. I don't think we have ever issued Easter stamps either.

    1. The "Year of the Rabbit" stamps could do :)

  4. The Pasque flower stamp is as close to Easter as the USA has gotten. Pretty stamp.

  5. Easter postage stamps were issued by Equatorial Guinea, a former Spanish colony.

    1. I didn't check those.
There are some issues about the Holy Week. The latest, in 2019. But there is not a theme they issue every year like, for instance, Christmas.
