Nothing to do with Scotland (as far as I know). But, when I was writing this post, I got the following stamp, issued in 2018, to commemorate the centenary of Russian Diplomatic Courier Service.
Thank you for sharing. I am having trouble finding appropriate stamps in my collection!
ReplyDeleteI had quite a few.
DeleteI was intrigued by the winged ox, usually associated with St Luke, until discovering he is a patron saint of artists. Every day a school day with stamps:) Impressive eagle with its crowns, nice postal surprise for you.
ReplyDeleteStamps are the best entertaining school :)
Deletewow, unicorns!!!! I love that stamp. And look at the lions' expression. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt seems fantastic, doesn't it?
DeleteI love that Scotland's national animal is a unicorn!

DeleteI like those red lions with blue mouths!
