I rarely receive postcards from my own country. However, this month I received some from the island of
Eivissa. It has been years since I last visited it, and these postcards make me dream!

What a gorgeous place! Like paradise.....
ReplyDeleteIt seems so to me (especially off-season).
DeleteWhat a beautiful spot, like you say, without the tourists! I didn't realize the name had so many different pronunciations.
DeleteEivissa is the Catalan name of the island.
DeleteSince you like lighthouses, have you seen this already? https://www.postcrossing.com/blog/2025/07/03/the-postcard-that-started-it-all-is-back
ReplyDeleteThat reminded me of a mail adventure...
DeleteBeautiful, I like the first view of the port. I worked with someone who liked it so much they took a holiday there every year, from memory I think it was somewhere in the north of the island.
ReplyDeleteI do not know the island so well, but I believe the north area is the best one.
DeleteIt's been many decades since I've been, but I love Ibiza! I know it's a lot more popular and crowded now.
ReplyDeleteBut still charming :)
