As a recent letter said, we cannot expect anything less than chaos from the postal services. The card corresponding to the 12th Day of Christmas was sent on 17th November, but it still has not arrived. Does it mean Christmas is not over this year?
On the twelfth day of Christmas I looked under the tree: One, two, three and Four there Five and Six and Seven too Eight and Nine and Ten ok Eleven also came, check But there's one a-missing, heck Well tomorrow it will come, maybe...
On our side of the border it is a normal working day, but I seem to have a recollection of It being a really festive day when I was a kid. Nothing as important for kids as on your side, since we give the presents at midnight on the 24th or in the morning of the 25th, but still It was quite an important date... Probably also because It was the last day of the first school period holidays... Anyway, I'll have a slice of bolo rei for you all. Enjoy your Roscón 😉
The postal services always keep us guessing, don't they!

DeleteBut not tomorrow, as there is not service on Epiphany Day.
