Sunday Stamps | Child Labor Reform

For today's theme in Sunday Stamps, Children, a stamp recently received on the back of a postcard.

It is a 1998 stamp, belonging to the long series Celebrate the Century, dedicated to the Child Labour Reform.

  1. I'm glad I was a child in the second half of the 20th Century. Its a striking photograph.

  2. Child labour has always been beyond my comprehension. Sometimes I just refuse to believe all those cruelties in the world. Unfortunately in some parts of this planet child labour is still real...

I agree, it is a striking photograph, simple but powerful.

  3. What year did the stamp represent? I have a number of the stamps from the series and always found the info on the back interesting.

    1. It's on the 1910s set. I can't read the information on the back because I got it stuck on a postcard :)
