The windmill sent from Germany indeed must be a Spanish windmill (Campo de Criptana like Fafa says, or Consuegra or other/any place?).
Ages ago I bought a miniature windmill in Spain (region of Murcia)(I love windmills and especially the Spanish ones make me smile). This miniature version had five blades instead of four, but the white building itself (including the high placed windows) looks similar to the one pictured.
p.s. to be sure I googled 'windmill Italy France Greece' but all of them look different from the windmill on your postcard :-)
On dira les moulins à vent Campo de Criptana ?

You both must be right: these must be Don Quixotte windmills.
