As far as I know, there is no strike. I think that maybe it is due to the consequences of the flooding, but we have not received any notice or communication from Correos. I made a complaint today.
They would say me that I fill a complaint form online (which I did, twice). The post office staff, actually, does not know anything about deliveries. Anyway, the working hours of the post office in my town are very restrictive, and coincide with my working hours. So, literally, I am not able to go to the post office!
That indeed is drama! Are they on strike there like the postal workers in Canada are?

I was wondering if you had the opportunity to send a complaint - hopefully it will yield results
DeleteIt is a bit frustrating. They replied like "we do not understand what you are saying" and "we do not know nothing about non-registered mail".
DeleteI filled a second complaint form just now :(
Bureaucracy at its finest
DeleteI hope they will check what happens, at least!
DeleteI hope so - are you able to go to the post office and enquire in person?

I thought that might be the case :(
DeleteThey replied to my second complaint, saying that "appropriate measures have been taken". Let's see what happens!
DeleteSounds ominous, but if it gets results...
