I did not know that chess was a common theme - I don't believe I have any, but now, I will look. The 'snakes and ladders' one is great :)
ReplyDeleteI've seen collections of chess stamps online. Maybe it's most a thing of the past, I don't know.
DeleteInteresting stamps. I never saw any chess themed stamps before. They are all beautiful, especially the “chutes and ladders” or “DNA and caduceus snake” stamp. 😉
ReplyDeleteI think they are common. At least, I have seen and sent some of them.
DeleteI like your mini connection of gameboards!
ReplyDeleteThe illustration on the last one is very clever. I have got this stamp several times, and I love it.
DeleteOoh I hadn't thought of board games, love that snake.
ReplyDeleteThere's a pattern on the snake, too!
DeleteAnd also on the DNA helix
Delete:)
DeleteI never thought of game board patterns! That last has so much going on. It's a strange one!
ReplyDeleteI think it's a good take on the theme of "genome".
