DeleteViolet is right, they look like the little ceramic houses for spices and things. Very pretty. I think the word "Delft" just brings up the vision of blue.

DeleteLisa suggestion of ceramic houses for spices made me want one, I like blue ceramics. Pretty blue houses, seems the Delftians (is that a word?) have mostly chosen pink for their canal houses.
