DeleteAh a Moominland tree. It features in the perfect Christmas story 'The Fir Tree'. The Moomins don't know what Christmas is and are frightened (they are usually asleep in winter) . Janson's niece reads it in English on the Moomin>/a> website if you want that warm Christmas glow

DeleteI like that one very much. I got a Postcrossing card recently from a country different from the image too. Then again, I have spare foreign cards I could send out.
ReplyDeleteThis one did not arrived through Postcrossing, but from a friend who had recently travelled to Finland :)
DeleteIn Postcrossing, I usually prefer postcards sent from the country on the image. But I don't mind if there is a reason for it to be different (like the sender was there on holidays, or it belongs to a favourite theme...).
