Weird Existing Animals

Weird Existing Animals is the second mail art project that Heleen set up:
Call for Mail Art: Weird (existing) Animals! Platypus, Tapir, Okapi, Echidna, Mole, Axolotl are some of my favourite animals. They have in common that they exist and that they are uncommon. Which animal do you think odd? Send your image of an unusual (existing, no fantasy) animal. All media are welcomed, minimum postcard size (10x15 cm), maximum A4 (20x30 cm). No jury, no fee, no return. All weird existing animals will be published in this ongoing virtual exhibition.
You can see my contributions 1, 2 (by Salina Sagace), 3 and 4 (so far!).

Send Me a Mermaid

Mail art call from Carlos Botana:
When you come back from your holidays at the seaside, bring a mermaid along and send it to me.Whether you saw her, drew her, photographed her, imagined her or whether the sea inspired her to you; even if somebody told you about her. If you spent your holidays inland then let your imagination run and SEND ME A MERMAID.
Size: 10 cm x 15 cm / Deadline: May 1st 2012 / All artworks will be exposed at: artecorreo2009.blogspot.es
Send your mermaid to: Carlos Botana / Avda. Gral. Sanjurjo, 62, 2º / 15006 A Coruña / SPAIN
Of course I've participated in the project by sending a postcard of my friend Salina Sagace:
