Yes, that's interesting, because I have seen black swans in Leeds Castle in Kent, in the south east of England. I will have to read more about it. I am glad you all like the card.
Mystery solved! Apparently the Australian government gifted them to Churchill and he passed them on to the owner of Leeds Castle. Churchill had a home in Kent.

DeleteSuch a nice card. It's interesting, an English stamp having a black swan, as only Australia has black swans (they are our state's fauna emblem).
