Featuring no English Words is this week's theme in Sunday Stamps.
These Dutch stamps belong to the Grenzeloos (Borderless) series, 2013, dedicated to Belgium. They feature a row of books from Belgian and Dutch writers. I guess there are not English words in those!
These are great stamps for today!

DeleteThanks for sharing the two stamps.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome.
DeletePerfect for today. The nerd in me loved the detailed explanations in the link. The example of the visual poetry of van Ostaijen made me think of how fond the Dutch are of font variety on their stamps.
ReplyDeleteYou're right. Have you seen these Dutch stamps issued in January?
DeleteOh wow! Those new Dutch stamps are wild!!
DeleteWow. I am still trying to get my head around the byzantine thinking behind the stamps. No matter they look like they will be great fun to use as indeed the blog says "A letter writer can cheer up an envelope with one of the four self-adhesive, curve-rich serpentine"
DeleteThey must be cool on envelopes!
DeleteThat is a clever choice!!!! Great stamps.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Marina :)
DeleteI like those! If they were English I'd try to read the titles.
ReplyDeleteI have read the titles, only to discover that I have not read any of the books! :/
DeleteI also checked out the link ... how sweet to see two countries so closely connected celebrating their mutual influences.
