It appears that Route 66 postcard had a bumpy ride on the Route!
ReplyDeleteI thought so. Maybe because it travelled so fast?
DeleteThe Route 66 postcard and stamps are spectacular! Even the low rider stamp!
ReplyDeleteyes, that car really fits the theme!
DeleteThe lowrider is perfect for this postcard :D
DeleteI love the first and the maxi card! Fun to get it so soon after mentioning it.
ReplyDeleteMail miracles happen ;)
DeleteI like the way the Australian letters run into each other, like a blend of printing and writing
ReplyDeleteAlthough I have not read the book, I found the design very appealing.
DeleteI like the idea of the Route du Patois, good to keep local dialects alive. Yes I too like the typography of he Blish card. I've only read his Cities in Flight series (4 books), a story good enough to stay in my mind from way back in the 20th Century. Based around the concept of the discovery of anti-gravity, the cities take flight from earth into space.
ReplyDeleteThe plot sounds very interesting!
