Thursday Postcard Hunt | Typographies

Postcard sent by Fabienne (France).

Postcard arrived from Australia, no clue why the sender chose it, but I like the typography. I have no read this book.

Maxicard sent by Bryon (the USA), with different postmarks, showing the iconic Route 66. Just three days ago I wrote in a comment that I like these stamps, and yesterday this landed!

There are different postmarks on the stamps, front and back of the postcard:

    1. Although I have not read the book, I found the design very appealing.

  5. I like the idea of the Route du Patois, good to keep local dialects alive. Yes I too like the typography of he Blish card. I've only read his Cities in Flight series (4 books), a story good enough to stay in my mind from way back in the 20th Century. Based around the concept of the discovery of anti-gravity, the cities take flight from earth into space.
