Breakfast Stamps

I usually open my letters by drinking a second coffee or a tea (I try to drink just a coffee a day, but sometimes this is just impossible). Maybe this is the reason because I love so much the breakfast-related stamps. I ignore if this category exists among philatelists, but it must be taken into consideration!

Some of the breakfast stamps I received so far:

From Finland

From Finland

From the Netherlands

From the Netherlands

From the Netherlands

From Russia

From Sweden

From the UK

From the USA

  1. I was going to say GB probably doesn't do breakfast on stamps, then I saw Winnie the Pooh! Finnish stamps always have such good designs, but I really like the Netherlands stamp with the woman and the coffee. You're right they should be a collecting theme.

    2. Being Winnie the Pooh they were almost certainly having honey for breakfast/brunch/lunch/tea/dinner/supper..

“When you wake up in the morning, Pooh," said Piglet at last, "what's the first thing you say to yourself?"
"What's for breakfast?" said Pooh. "What do you say, Piglet?"
"I say, I wonder what's going to happen exciting today?" said Piglet.
Pooh nodded thoughtfully. "It's the same thing," he said.”

    3. Thanks for the quotation: this is how I feel every morning (I mean... like Pooh).
