Sunday Stamps | Winter Scenes

This letter was sent by Phillip (the USA) on 11 February 2021, and reached me 2 months and 2 days later, on 13 April. The combination of the stamps and the pictorial postmark turned out really nicely.

And a couple more of letters with winter stamps, recently received from Laura (the UK):

This is a post for Sunday Stamps. Today's theme is Winter. Go to the post to see more stamps related to winter or add yours!

  1. Beautiful US set. Cardinals are a whole lot flashier than our robins.

  2. I've not seen an E on royal mail stamps before. does that stand for Europe (rate)?
The snow sculpture is pretty cool looking.

    1. The robins belongs to the 2001 Christmas stamps.

The ice sculptures are 2003 Christmas stamps.

I think the "Europe" rate existed only between 1999 and 2004 or so. I got those this year, though.

  3. Great stamps, though I am confused by the image on the UK E stamp.

    1. It is an ice sculpture. I included the link to that series (Christmas 2003) on a comment above.
